I prefer to always be explicit, so +1 on always including strong/assign etc.

The order of the specifiers doesn't matter, so I see no need to standardize on that.

This also brings up another question: Should we add any guidelines on using nonatomic/atomic?

+1 on being explicit.

Given the inferred performance hit when using atomic on mobile devices, I would stress to always use nonatomic. I can't imagine any scenario where atomic would be favourable.
