@Koenkk - thanks for the feedback. I will check with the manufacturer and ask them, but I think the reason their approach might still be valid is that they are not extending a "standard device endpoint" but using an additional non-standard endpoint for their customer cluster.

I'll let you know the feedback from ubisys, but as said above there is still the workaround to use the numeric attribute ids and it's anyway for configuration purposes only.
