Thanks for the bug report !

I managed to reproduce the issue and it happens only for the borders pattern.
This pattern uses 3 separate kernel and - should - return the best score of the 3 kernels.
The implementation was correct in detect, but quantify would always return the score of the first kernel, regardless of the score of the others.

I pushed a fix in 1cd64e1 and made a new release (1.5.0) available on pip. Feel free to close this issue if it fixes your problem.
