Essay I Say uses CreateML trailed ML models to classify texts as an essay type — Argumentative, Descriptive, Expository, Narrative, Persuasive. Essay I Say also preforms classification on other grammatical parts of text inputs of a single clause. One can classify clauses for their Voice [active, passive], Time[present, past, future], aspect [continuous, simple], and x-ended questions [open, closed]. The intention is to create an input system for a text based game that focuses heavily on grammatical analysis. The ML models allow input to be predicted rather than calculated, which allows for words to be misspelled and other typos to not be large hindrances during classification.
A Grammar classification app that received text input and classifies the Voice, Time, and Aspect of a clause. Essay I Say also classifies longer texts into a essay type.
