Adding controller/service layer for business logic

There's already a convention for queries and mutations. Check out the implementation for stories. Curious how you would want to do this differently?

I have used stories as an example, these js files handle the "controller" aspect. In most of our applications we separate the "C" in MVC into Controllers and services. Controllers take care of the Graphql aspect, whereas services contain the actual business logic and are called by mutation.js, query.js and validate.js.
I was wondering how this could be done here?

I guess I just don't really see a problem that needs solving there. Every abstraction has a cost. To me, a better question is why this would be done here?
