Add the lines in your pom file:

<dependency> <groupid>jetty</groupid> <artifactid>javax.servlet</artifactid> <scope>test</scope> </dependency>

I've tried that and it seems the problem was with another dependency that
was added by a pear of mine that resulted in JEE6 configuration when
loading the jetty servlet.

Adding your dependency before the other one solved the issue.
Another thing though, why do I have to attach a debugger manually in order
to load the hosted mode?
