Matsuyama-san (@m2ym) is one of the greatest emacs hackers. I wish he would kindly take a look at this...

@kyagi Current shell-pop does not work well with popwin. Because shell-pop does not use
popup buffer function, such as pop-to-buffer. shell-pop creates window and move window,
switches it to shell buffer by itself.
I think that popwin can work with popup-ed buffer. If user uses shell-pop with popwin,
2 windows are popup-ed, as below.

If we support working with popwin, we should redesign.

Hi joonhwan, as @syohex said, it doesn't seem to be feasible to integrate shell-pop into pop-win.
In my opinion, I'd like to let it alone according to the unix principle: Small is beautiful.

FYI: term-plus-el supports popwin integration.

@joonhwan, it seems to be another good option to use term-plus-el for the marriage of Emacs and Shell. I hope it would be informative for you.
