Although CLNDR is not solely a datepicker, the way Kendo does it is you click the top month to get to year view, click the top year to get to years view, click again for decade view.

Thanks for your comment, sorry i wasn't specific enough, what i want to do is this (obviously in a less ugly way):

Using the google calendar API to display/manage the events, which i already know how to do, i just don't know if CLNDR is the right project to do this (in which case, what is the better way to use it ?) or if i have to resort to something like d3.js.

I'm not an authority for this project, but I would guess this is out of scope for CLNDR.

I don't know of any year views like this (though I admit it is a pretty cool view of events), daypilot is kind of similar: http://mvc.daypilot.org/lite/

@iandoe unfortunately I think you're looking for way more than clndr is built to deliver. Perhaps something like FullCalendar http://arshaw.com/fullcalendar/ would work for you. CLNDR is geared towards the traditional month view, and while some awesome devs out there have made a week or a year view work for them, you are looking for something quite robust!
