It seems it was a logic issue in the Event policy but I addressed it now.

The baked in logic allows all roles to create / edit / delete events in their own calendars, but only admin and supervisors to edit / delete their and other users events.

This is easily customizable by creating a local Calendar or Event Policy and set it in your AuthServiceProvider.
