chrome://serviceworker-internals/

Then manually unregister the previous service worker.

Let's leave this open.

Aware of the workaround, but afaik these don't expire so will cause confusion to anyone who checked the framework out before

This is why we will keep this open and refer to it if somebody asks. At least until we'll have a better idea.

I understand,

From what I see the service worker is still added as a configuration option but just no longer present.
I'm not sure what caused it to be unavailable in later builds.

I did notice you've included the v1 pwa plugin; but are still using 0.x

That might be causing some conflict leading into this?
