Thanks for your reply, but I'm not able to make it works.
From a directive, I do this:
ngDialog.open({
template: 'views/new.html',
data: {
'productId': Id
},
controller: 'NewCtrl'
});
Inside the NewCtrl, i have this:
console.log('giftrynew scopes', $scope, $scope.$parent, $scope.$parent.ngDialogData);

And I can't find the ngDialogData value anywhere.

@brunopaz thanks for pointing to this. Right now data is assumed to be string, so you need to wrap your object with JSON.stringify({..}).
