I am working to fix it. In the meanwhile, I can explain why the error occurs.

In Liqo we use Wireguard as the default solution to interconnect clusters.
WireGuard operates as a kernel module, tightly integrated with the operating system's network stack. This integration allows it to leverage the kernel's networking capabilities efficiently, resulting in lower overhead and improved performance.
That's great but wireguard was incorporated into the Linux kernel from version 5.6 . That's why we also leverage on boringtun which is a wireguard userspace implementation. So if your Kernel is old (as in your case) we run boringtun.

We strongly suggest updating your kernel version in order to have higher performance. Anyway, we surely fix this bug asap.
