Not off-hand, no. I have a special printf-ified pytorch install that I can run it through and see what pops out.

Boxed dispatch of these out-ref containing functions (which addcmul.out is) is actively getting attention upstream, and I'm inclined to wait a bit and rebase vs doing another special purpose carve-out. How critical is this to you to have right now?

This was one of those things that came out of a toy example so not on the critical path yet. Feel free to wait for upstream on this and if this finds its way on the critical path I will let you know. Thanks again!
