I've updated DPLOY on a separated branch for this issue, because I can't test it right now on a SFTP server.
So if you guys could give it a try, just clone this branch:
https://github.com/LeanMeanFightingMachine/dploy/tree/issue33
And then run grunt (to compile the JS) and link with npm. If you are happy with that, I will merge to master and release a new version.
Now you can set the passphrase
parameter on the config file. It works exactly like on the ssh2
library: For an encrypted private key, this is the passphrase used to decrypt it.
server:
scheme: sftp
host: sftp.your-host.com
user: your-user
privateKey: ~/.ssh/id_rsa
passphrase: your-passphrase-here
Cheers,
Lucas

Hey @Dennisimo, thanks for pointing this out. I was reading the documentation of the ssh2 library again and it looks like I missed the passphrase
option in case your privateKey is encrypted.
But instead of creating another parameter on DPLOY, I think I am gonna use the same pass
parameter.
So if you set the privateKey
, DPLOY will try to use the pass
parameter as the passphrase
. Does it makes sense?
