I forgot to insert dmesg error signaling:

8188eu: Unknown symbol daemonize (err 0)

If you have the current version, i.e. you did a "git pull" since December 3, your version of include/osdep_service.h will have a code sequence that contains:

allow_signal(SIGTERM);
}

That code allows the driver to work on older kernels where daemonize() exists and still works with newer kernels. If your source has this snippet and you are still getting the error, then delete the ifdef .. endif lines. For those people that are using the driver on older kernels, I have to leave the code in.

Hi lwfinger,
I launched make clean, removed the ifdef..endif lines you listed in your message and than recompiled and mounted the module. however I obtained the same error message, related to daemonize method. Maybe I forgotten to remove some files beofre reinstalling the module, but I'm a linux beginner so I don't know wich are these files. Could you help me, please?
