You cannot change those quantities. They are burned into the device.

If you want to add a new device to the tables, please supply the output of 'lsusb'. As you are posting here, you must have an RTL8188EU device.

Hello, thank you for your fast reply. I have D-Link adapter with RTL8188ETV chip.
You are right, VIP/PID are burned into the device but there is a method to change them http://wiki.samygo.tv/index.php5/Using_NoN-Samsung_USB_WiFi_dongles_with_TV but only for the Ralink's chips ( RTL8188ETV is the Realtek's chip).

As you see VID and PID can be chaged by
user@localhost:# sudo iwpriv ra0 e2p 208=04E8
ra0 e2p:0208=0x04E8
user@localhost:
# sudo iwpriv ra0 e2p 20A=2018
ra0 e2p:020A=0x2018

so i'm looking something like this for my RTL8188ETV. As i wrote before, there is no information in the internet about this process and no e2p method in RTL8188ETV. Do you have any ideas about this?

P.S. Thank you a lot for your help.

Those commands are for Ralink devices - they will never work for Realtek chips. There is no hardware to accomplish that action.

Are you trying to use your RTL8188 with a TV, or do you want to run it under Linux in a computer?

I'm trying to use it for my samsung tv as wifi adapter, but it doesn't see the device.

Unless you can convince Samsung to redo their OS, you need to buy a new device. There is no assurance that the operating system in the TV even supports an RTL8188EU device of any kind, no matter the USB ID. In any case, the Realtek device has no means to change its ID.
