Using OpenSSL (the easy way), we can probably just call openssl_load_windows_certificates from that file (https://github.com/satori-com/satori-rtm-sdk-c/blob/master/core/src/ssl/rtm_openssl.c#L57). Our OpenSSL init sequence is inspired from this code.

I'm trying to implement this by using mbedtls, a relatively small cross-platform C ssl library with CMake support.
Work is in feature/mbedtls / and is very dirty at this point.
