Are you using a Website Project? If so, it wouldn't work

MVC-Project, yes. Whats the reason for that?

MVC is a Web Application Project and not a Website Project. It should work just fine. In Tools -> Options -> File Nesting, did you enable the various nesters? Also, you can do it on the folder instead of the individual files. Does that work?

I had the same problem on VS2013.4 and this approach solved my problem. Thanks a lot!
