Hi.
Thanks for the request because you let me notice that I didn't implemented two public methods for getting the current page and section elements which are useful in this case.
I've build an example that shows what you need in your example (if I understand correctly).
It's not reccommended to hack Flowtime with empty sections or pages but you can achieve the same result implementing a little logic of your own.
You can take a look at the example here: http://flowtime-js.marcolago.com/examples/sub-pages-demo/
and look at the comments in the source code of the index.html page to understand what happens.
Let me know if this solves your problem and be sure to take the last version of Flowtime from github to use the getPage API.
Thanks.

EXACTLY! I had already done some tomhackery on it to get the sections shenanigans i was proposing to work but it was leading to a rabbit hole of issues.
This solution work perfect in browser but falls apart mobile. Ill debug, fork and create a PR for the example page once i get it working.
Thanks for your help.

Ops. Sorry but I've non optimized the example to work on touch devices.
Now I've fixed the code adding the correct "touchend" event listener and all is working fine.
Thanks for the feedback.
