Hi
I don't completely understand what's happening here - do you mean
profile.profile_image = 'http....'
profile_image doesn't take an argument.
Also - there isn't anything about open-uri in Dragonfly, except in this fork (as far as I know): http://github.com/jurisgalang/dragonfly
Are you using that fork?
