Issue with Faraday dependency

Hmm, I'm not sure exactly what's causing this. In my projects right now, farady 0.8.9 is being used (alongside faraday_middleware 0.9.0).

If it helps, I don't have gem 'faraday', '< 0.9', '>= 0.7' in my gemfile, because kickscraper itself has that dependency. You could try removing that from your gemfile.

If that doesn't work, I hate to suggest this, but you could fork kickscraper and change its dependency to gem 'faraday', '< 0.10', '>= 0.7'.

If that works, please submit a pull request and we'll check it out!

thanks Ben. With your info I was able to figure this out. I had faraday_middleware 0.9.1 in Gemfile.lock. I uninstalled that version and then in Gemfile added: gem 'farady_middleware', '0.9.0' and removed the faraday entry.

Now it works including on deploy to Heroku.
