The production-mode middleware (weberror.errormiddleware.ErrorMiddleware) will be replaced with one capable of INI-configurable code-based internal redirects. Additionally, it will log using the standard Python logging infrastructure.

Temporarily, you can add the following to your INI file to add status code-based redirects to an existing application:

[app:main]
…
filter-with = redirects

[filter:redirects]
use = egg:Paste#errordocument
404 = /handler/404
500 = /handler/500

You can specify whatever path you wish. The filter-with line should be added to your app:main section.
