This is definitely an exploit. Unfortunately it likely can't be fixed unless Roots adds a config option to make the pouches not be baubles.

Yeah there isn't much i can do about that except removing the whole pouch. I've updated the roots mod and it looks like they changed the way to get started in the mod. so you no longer need the pouch and the spell. So I propably need to rework parts of the second chapter.

After updating roots to the newest version you no longer need to cast a spell to activate the grove stone. I updated the questbook to utilize the new activation with a pyre ritual. so this should no longer be a problem.
