As of the current Mermaid version 9.2.2 mindmaps are still in experimental state and not included in the official distribution.

To still use it, you have to place the current Mermaid distribution in your project by placing it in static/mermaid/mermaid.js, hoping that the outdated themes code still works with the current version and add the additional auxiliary file manually to your footer.

Shameless plug: Once mindmaps are included in Mermaids distribution it will soon be available in my fork of this theme.
