Sure, just on the phone right now, but will later make and update releasing
it as MIT/BSD. I am quite ignorant about Creative Commons, is there any
version that you think that would fit? Still, what I wrote is just some
code and I am reusing kanjivg artwork, so MIT/BSD could possibly be a
better match.

First off, thanks very much for building this!
Could you please use a standard license such as MIT or BSD for this,
rather than the informally-worded one you have in the readme? Although MIT
and BSD express something similar to what you've written (but in more
words), it's difficult to use a library with a "custom" license since it's
unproven and can pose a risk. You may also like something like Creative Commons which has a "by
attribution" license. I'm unsure how suited it is to code.—

This is perhaps an option:
This work by https://github.com/maurimo/kanimaji is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
It requires attribution, and otherwise allows reuse without restriction, much like BSD and MIT. But it's somewhat unusual to use for source code. They actually discourage it here: https://creativecommons.org/faq/#can-i-apply-a-creative-commons-license-to-software
I don't know of a good open source license that requires attribution. You could try MIT/BSD and additionally ask for attribution apart from the license only as a favor... This is what I'd do, anyway.

BTW, once this is sorted I intend to get a CircleCI automated build setup to create the SVGs :)

Alright, I updated the README file stating that it is relaesed under
MIT/BSD, at your option. I hope this is enough for you concerns,

I now have this automatically building here: https://circleci.com/gh/aehlke/kanimaji/13#artifacts If I have time I'll clean up my fork so it's something you could merge.
