I have been referring to this paper (particularly Fig. 8) for verification and some validation.
This is for RANS with multiblock and overset meshes.

Also see Appendix A in Mads' paper for the WT analysis comparison with DTU's EllipSys3D. As we mentioned, this is quite an extreme case and ADflow is overestimating the actual loads. I am observing similar behavior in another validation and verification case, on a much smaller turbine. Hopefully BYU and us will get some results published in the next year
