This may not be a bug at all. I was testing the new 2.4.1 against older precompiled samples. ABI compatibility was broken between 2.1.1 and 2.1.2 when the number of inputs was extended. Alt+Tab is related to input. Must check when at home, date of old built samples and rebuild them against the current release. A test application built against the new version doesn't crash and enters/exists fullscreen without problem.

Issue caused by ABI incompatibility confirmed. Building the samples against the new version fixes the crash.
