Hi,

the first thing is: in react you should put the initialization of the listener in the live-cycle-method componentDidMount not in componentWillMount.

Additionally i don't know enough about your code to assess if the event is maybe emitted before the listener is initialized. Please make sure that the event is emitted after the listener initialization in your receiver component.

I will also add some methods to list all active listeners in future. In the mean time you can help yourself by logging:

console.log(EventRegister._Listeners) // not tested but should work

I had the same issue the problem was that in one of the file i was using EventRegister.removeAllListeners() in componentWillUnmount instead of EventRegister.removeEventListeners().
