Currently no. But you can replace ASCII emojies with emojione after editing.

How do you think it supposed to be?
User enter :), and it replaced with smile?

I don't like it, so don't wanna do this.
If you want, you can add this feature,
Contributions are welcome!

I tried replacing that with emojione! But I am facing the issue of caret moving to the starting position of the field. It was hard!!

If you can give me a hint on mapping ASCII smiles to the shortcodes, I am ready for providing contribution! πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Today, many people write short texts in the form of ":)" or ":-)". It is both a quick response and expresses itself beautifully. Whether you want it or not, all major sites are doing autocompletions like this. Example: Whataspp and Facebook. Because people are accustomed to these sites, they are very common in this text when they leave the text ": D" in our texts. EmojiOne is a great script but the shortcuts are very useless. Metode: To open the panel when we press the key: Completion may be more convenient by adding an automatic smile when we add a D-shaped expression. Think about it for the next version.
