Using DIV container instead of window won't work?

I'm experiencing the same problem as well, will try and debug today.

It seems that somehow in the past localMode dissapeared and wasn't replaced. I've added some logic to the script -- to use a DIV container instead of a window:

1. Set the container option on the infinitescroll settings (to whatever your containers selector is, i.e. #innerscroll)
2. Ensure your container is set to overflow:scroll;

i thought localMode was deleted intentionally?

Unfortunately I didn't see Paul's comment till after I had reimplemented it, it didn't add a lot more complexity after all to be honest, adding perhaps 8 lines of code max (just javascript deciding whether to use window as the base or a container). I can revert if Paul wishes though.

okay, sounds good to me. i just thought i would get everyone's opinion after seeing this as closed. oh, the joy of labeling closed issues.
