My perspective is that the license is permissive, as opposed to restrictive.

The Packery licensing terms are a bit of an experiment. I am still considering the best way to allow for general free non-commercial use of Packery under one set of terms, and commercial use under another. I rather not use the GPL for non-commercial use, as I find that license too restrictive. So, for now, Packery non-commercial use is under MIT, to be as least restricting as possible, with the caveat that it must be non-commercial use.

I'll continue to evaluate the terms.

@desandro your licensing makes even less sense now. Read the GLP v3 you have not. See section 7 " If the Program as you received it, or any part of it, contains a notice stating that it is governed by this License along with a term that is a further restriction, you may remove that term."
