@plasmacorral I opened a draft PR here: https://github.com/MetaMask/metamask-mobile/pull/8730/files but I was not able to provide screenshots as apparently behaviors differs from one device to another. On my Oneplus 11, I don't get prompted to allow nearby devices until i dismiss the "looking for ledger device" modal, and on rejection I don't get any error message.
It probably requires a different issue but i'm not sure if it's something that we can fix. I'll have a look anyway.
