Sure. I'm using the latest version of layercake (7.4.0).

This is what I get when I run npx envinfo --system --binaries --browsers --npmPackages "{svelte,@sveltejs/*,vite}" on the Svelte Kit project (I realise now that it's not the latest version of SK, so I hope that's not the glitch -- I'll check that separately):

Could be a vite issue. The layercake-template uses vite ^4.0.0, could you try upgrading?

The current version of @sveltejs/kit is 1.15.8. It could be you're still on a pre-1.0 version which may affect things too.

Thanks Michael. It looks as though upgrading to the latest versions of Vite (4.3.3) and Svelte Kit (1.15.8) has resolved this issue for me.
