I am beginner with CocoaPods and not sure how serious it is (shows in newest CocoaPods version and gems at this moment cocoapods-0.24.0):
[!] [iPhoneMK (1.2.2)] preferred_dependency
has been renamed to default_subspec
.
[!] [MKStoreKit (4.99)] The use of post_install
by overriding the method is deprecated.
Do you want me to fork it? That always seems so akward with the project having diff targets. Also I only did the badge thing not the rest. Id like to put this on github any suggestions? Should I fork it?
your deployment target is 3.1 but you use Social.framework
you should change deployment target to 6.0 or weak link Social.framework
On rotation while in the Parental gate view, the text is clipped, prominent especially when presenting while in Landscape mode and then rotating to portrait.
I’ve recently added iPhoneMK to the CocoaPods package manager repo.
CocoaPods is a tool for managing dependencies for OSX and iOS Xcode projects and provides a central repository for iOS/OSX libraries. This makes adding libraries to a project and updating them extremely easy and it will help users to resolve dependencies of the libraries they use.
However, iPhoneMK doesn't have any version tags. I’ve added the current HEAD as version 0.0.1, but a version tag will make dependency resolution much easier.
Semantic version tags (instead of plain commit hashes/revisions) allow for resolution of cross-dependencies.
In case you didn’t know this yet; you can tag the current HEAD as, for instance, version 1.0.0, like so:
$ git tag -a 1.0.0 -m "Tag release 1.0.0"
$ git push --tags
Not an issue, would just be nice to have Cocoapod support.
Wonderful stuff. Thanks for open-sourcing.
I've attached a patch that I used to enhance the demo to show how to quickly use the badges with UIButton
s or UIBarButtonItem
s ... would you be open to accepting these changes?
Here's the patch: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6207935/mk-patch.diff
It would have saved me 1 hour and 7 minutes to feel assured that it would simply work and start using your library ... and I imagine if we take that collectively for all the folks who get your code and use it, that would add up to a lot of hours :)
