Thank you so much for the support!
I have been thinking about this since I just recently manually assigned 100+ policies after copying multiple environments.
This is definitely possible and shouldn't be that hard. However, this what PolicySets are for. Simplify assignments. Do you think PolicySets are good enough or do think this feature would still add value?
Thank you!

I add another challenge. Different objects uses different types of assignments eg som has support for filters, others don't, apos has additional properties etc. Everything is possible but the differences raises a few challenges :)
Thank you!

As much as I like Policy sets, I have my thoughts about them as well. Not all policies can be added, e.g. Endpoint Security policies, which is why I think this option would add value. And I do agree, assignments include and exclude and support for filters makes it a bit of a jungle :)
Another approach, I have seen used, is to create a security group for every policy created, and then build some sort of policy set approach based on personas or roles, ending up with groups in groups, however my experience is this can be hard to control and to ensure everything is "as expected", not to forget to be able to validate and document the assignments.

I created a new feature request, finding out that @dotjesper actually already submitting a similar feature request.

Micke, first of all thanks for releasing and maintaining this awesome tool which is a must-have in any Intune engineer toolkit *
Since Microsoft Intune currently lacks insight in what settings are assigned from the global overview, why not build it into this solution and make it even more valuable, view assignments, search assignments etc..
Second, it would also be nice to be able to set an assignment on multiple items at once, something the Intune Console also lacks, where we can for example decide to either "edit" or "overwrite" the current assignments, or do assignments based on an imported CSV or assignment export from another tenant to name a view scenario's
Might be a little bit offtopic to what the tool is currently doing, but I think this functionality can be very handy to have in the tool.

Hello!
There is a tool to review assignments for policies and the used groups. It's under Views -> Intune Assignments. It does require a full export. It would take too long to do it directly in Intune.
Yes, Jesper raised the question of multi assignment in the tool. I have been thinking about it a lot and looked at possible solutions. The major challenge is that there are many different types of assignments eg script vs app vs proactive remediations. Policy Sets should take care of this but unfortunately, there are plenty of policies not supported.
Cheers!
