Mac is completely unsupported right now. Only Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows are currently supported.

I'm having a hard time building the repo on Mac. Using cmake from root and its failing because I'm missing some variables LTTNGUST_LIBRARIES LTTNGUST_INCLUDE_DIRS?

If dev on Mac isn't totally supported yet I don't want to make more work for y'all so I'll unassign myself from this issue and let someone else pick it up instead!

Understandable! I'm going to try and get an Ubuntu box up and running cause I would really like to contribute. I'll comment here if I need to give this up or not by the end of the day.

Update: I got Dev Containers sort of working, but the issue I ran into was building openssl.

I was executing the build script as ./scripts/build.ps1 -Config debug -Arch arm64 -Tls openssl and when it got to the openssl step it would crash powershell. I'm happy to provide more details but at this point I don't think i'll be able to make a contribution because I can't get it building even in an ubuntu container 🙁

Best of luck with the project! I'll definitely be keeping an eye on it so I can try it again in the future 😄
