Changing your name servers with GoDaddy to Office 365 will allow Office 365 to manage your DNS rather than GoDaddy. Moving DNS may involve signing in to your registrar and changing the name servers (servers responsible for knowing how to reach your domain) from the registrar to Office 365. GoDaddy and Azure are federated so you will not be able to transfer DNS to Office 365 without changing your name servers. There is no need to do this; GoDaddy managed DNS is much simpler.

You can logon on to your registrar, which in our example is http://godaddy.com, and after logging in, select the drop-down menu from under your login name, choosing Manage Domains and under manage DNS copy the Host value and the TXT Value exactly from the verify screen in your Azure AD. Once the records are saved, switch back to the Azure AD Domain names page and select the VERIFY button.
