Thanks! I'll push this out to the test servers. The go based servers are handling ~700qps in in the "idle" period and 7-8000 in the "peak seconds" that I watched.

nice :-) What value of GOMAXPROCS are you using? 1?
#cpu + 1 is a nice value for servers.

GOMAXPROCS=5 ./geodns -run

for instance.

For now I am just using 1 to keep things simple. When it's been stable for a while I'll try bumping it up on the multi-CPU servers. (The main limitation is memory leaking away on the i386 servers).
