I have just updated the version of core, so "getinfo" rpc call in html may be used to obtain it.

function requestNetInfo() in twister_network.js already performs "getinfo", it just doesn't use the field "version" returned.

I wouldn't know where to get the latest version number from.
I can put "Version 90000" on the page OK, but what is there to compare that against?

iShift mentioned sending version in a torrent broadcast message but I'm looking at twister-core and twister-html to both be up to date before a green OK shows under the block chain status.

Before you invest too much confidence in my abilities I'm not a programmer, but I'm prepared to take days to do badly what someone who knows what they are doing could hack together in minutes.

I think that we can use bitcoin broadcast for core update and, simple subscribe to twister username for web GUI update. (Maybe we can use same system for core update) because DHT is the fast thing :) (and of course - bitcoin broadcast - for urgent messages and updates, like in original bitcoin)

I think it should go in Network.html, since most of the tech info is already there. I'll see if I can put together a pull req.
