Can you dump window on the browser console and check if there are any ga variables set?

Problem is, that this plugin obviously uses the legacy API of Google Analytics (ga.js), which is deprecated (see gajs). I don't cover this for now.

But I'm working on it. I think I should show a deprecation warning for this case.

Btw, I wouldn't recommend using this plugin at all. If the screenshot is up-to-date (and the change log supports my theory), then this plugin doesn't support anonymiseIP or forceSSL which is definitely not GDPR compliant. 😏
