i went through a whole thing today to try and update to the latest version just to downgrade to an older uyou version because i couldn’t find one that works. i won’t update using an ipa i found through some sketchy website

I'm getting an update notice telling me to update to 3.0.4, but in the /releases/ section here on this github the newest version is only 3.0.3, and that's from February...so there's literally no way for me to update to 3.0.4 right now. Was it made private or something somehow?

You have to build the ipa yourself. Due to google now the developer is not allowed to share the ipa anymore.

I assumed as such. But in order to build the ipa myself, I need the source code to do so. There is no source code for 3.0.4 in the /releases section.

3.0.3 is literally the latest release for me:

YouTube v19.06.2 + uYou v3.0.3 Latest

I had the same problem as you while trying to build the file so I had to try a different interaction of this project so if you want you can try this one. Here is my ipa, is not uYouPlus but it has the same functions downloading also works, just make sure to enable Vp9 codecs to have 4k capabilities
