Probably an issue with the environment, i.e. some environment variables aren't present or identical when git-deploy scripts are ran as a result of git push
as when you log in to your server manually and perform bundle install
.
You can change your deploy scripts to save the result of calling env
on your system to a file, then deploy via git push
. Then log into your server manually, call env
and compare it to the contents of the file. You'll see all the differences in environment variables that way. Pay attention to contents of PATH.
from git-deploy.
When bundling properly in vendor/bundle but not having that in git all gems are build native on the server. Issue is then solved.
