The correct thing would be to abort right? But that means error handling in bash and dunno if that is possible.

I'm suggesting being able to run the hooks the same way 'git-deploy restart' works now. Running deploy-related commands should not require a git push.

Thanks, @jsierles; noted. When a deploy hook is re-run explicitly, it should be invoked with the same set of git SHAs as when it was when it failed, right?
