As long as you have git installed and a shell it should work, but I'm not sure. Are you getting an error?

Well .. the problem is that I don't have a unix shell.
I'd like to use hub from my Powershell commandline. I tried installing it by downloading the standalone, but it's not an exe I can run..

@jingweno does this need to be reopened? Now that hub is using Go I have no idea
how to get it for Windows.
