and if resource == i'ts "Collections" click on pagetitle for view child's, if not = click for edit.
a good example the component "Group Edit", but it does not good work with other TV (MIGX and Custom ajax TV), ajax and another restrictions, and always need go to Components-> Group Edit.... he not have CRC

oh I see,

now you shouldn't be able to see resource with a class key set to collections un the children grid. Instead of it, you should be able to see that collection in resource tree.

I don't think that mixing collections, containers and resources in children grid is good idea...

But if more people will request this feature, it can be implemented :)

tree well but I'm just trying to get rid of it, if it is admissible to show his collection class in the tree or not, you can choose ("see on tree"), but for the convenience that you could go in or create direct children in Grid Type - like as a complement of the functional, just faster and really need for catalog, i agree some child can lost, becase not each we can see in tree. but that is another issue)
mb you in future can create Collection child class and not mix "coll" and resource.
Tree for 1k items not good idea for now, tree always loading, reloading and etc) but with you i'ts sounds like rescue =)

What about having a system setting that allows you to show collections in the grid - like you want (but only collections, not standard resource containers). What will be in tree will be as now.
