Until this gets fixed, you can change the Renderer for the "pagetitle" field to "Collections.renderer.pagetitle". Instead of the buttons, just clicking on the pagetitle will edit the child.

I never experienced this problem on any site where we deployed Collections...

Just a stupid question, but better to ask, don't you have sorted by published on column? Where clicking on publish/unpublish button will lead to reordering the grid?

If not, would be possible to get credentials on site where you have problem with it?

I reordered by all of the columns, just to test it out. jonline.sottwell.modxcloud.com editor - newseditor will give you access to the Collection

There are currently no buttons, can you turn them on for a minute?

Yes, I just did. And now it's working as expected. So I don't know exactly what the conditions were that cause the odd behavior.

But at least I know know that if it does it again, just re-order by create date.

Ok, JOLTeam is still doing it. I didn't change whatever order I did last for that one.

Can you grant me an access there + permissions for publish/unpublish?

from collections.

theboxer avatar theboxer commented on September 27, 2024

Yeah, I see it in JOL Team and it's the case like I described above. When I click upublish to anything it looks like the row didn't change and I upublish the last row. But if you follow the pagetitle you'll see that you unpublish the item you wanted but it moved to the end of the table (due to sorting)

Yes, I see now. My eyes are bothering me, and I didn't see that it was moving the unpublished one to the bottom. Ok. Sorry about that.
