Views are put in incorrect place when using backend\views

I think the issue is that I have a domain dom.dev for the frontend and I have a subdomain for the backend called sub.dom.dev. When I create the CRUD for the frontend from the dom.dev domain it works fine to create the frontend\models CRUD, but if I try to use the same domain dom.dev to create the backend files, it does not generate the views in the backend but in the frontend.

I can't test it currently, but I believe if I use the gii generator from the sub.dom.dev, that it should function correctly to produce the backend CRUD. I'll update you when I'm able to test that.

When I use the backend domain's gii (sub.dom.dev), it works fine. If I try to create backend/models namespace from the main domain's gii (dom.dev) it incorrectly puts the views into the frontend no matter the namespace.
