No, that should be enough. How did you install ffmpeg?.

brew install ffmpeg --with-fdk-aac --with-sdl2 --with-freetype --with-libass --with-libquvi --with-libvorbis --with-libvpx --with-opus --with-x265 Restarted mkchromecast afterwards, still has only mp3 as an option.

Would you like to test the application from sources, or create an app by yourself?. I also could create one with latest HEAD in master so that you can use it and let me know. Currently, it is not possible for me to build a standalone app to distribute. py2app + pyqt5 seems broken.
