Chub Stresser is a Python script designed to simulate a Denial of Service (DoS) attack. It can be used for testing servers' resilience to high loads under stress conditions. However, it's crucial to use this tool responsibly and only for legal and authorized purposes.
To use Chub Stresser, follow these steps:
- Clone the repository or download the
chub.py
script. - Open a terminal or command prompt.
- Navigate to the directory where
chub.py
is located. - Install the required dependencies using the following command:
pip install -r requirements.txt
. - Run the script using Python 3:
python3 chub.py
. - Follow the on-screen instructions to specify the target and configure the stress test parameters.
- Allows you to choose between direct URL or DNS/IP address as the target.
- Customizable number of timeout retries.
- Configurable number of threads for concurrent requests.
- Supports both HTTP and socket-based requests.
