I'm adding the waiting for upvotes label to this issue to see the demand in the community for this feature request.

Regarding the request itself, there are a few things that are not clear to me, feel free to share your opinion 🙂

1. Should the sorting indication persist after the row is reordered while sorting is applied? Technically, the rows are no longer sorted according to the sorting criteria.
   I believe we should display the grid in the unsorted state and trigger the sorting model change.
2. Should the sorting triggered after reordering discard the reordering?
   I believe it should.
